![]() The Native Hawaiian Organizations Association's (NHOA) 1st Annual Business Summit Conference took place on August 5 and 6 at the Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki. The theme of this year's conference was "Kina'ole - doing the right thing, in the right way, at the right time, in the right place, to the right person, for the right reason, with the right feeling...the first time!" Holomua Consulting Group will be presenting a series of workshops covering various topics critical to the growth and success of small to medium-sized businesses in the federal contracting industry. The goal of these workshops is to provide attendees with information on a wide range of topics which are applicable and relevant to government contractors. We are in the process of finalizing the details (dates, location, etc.) and workshop schedule for the rest of 2015, but the first workshop of the 2015 Workshop Series has been set. The first workshop in the Workshop Series will be free of charge and will be held on January 21, 2015 from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. at the Honolulu International Airport Interisland Terminal Conference Center. The Conference Center is located on the top level (7th Floor) of the interisland parking structure. This first workshop will provide an introduction to government contracting and small business set-aside programs, including the 8(a) Business Development program administered by the SBA.
